For Clubs, Schools & Coaches

Score the game, then run the week
from the same record.

Score the game by voice or tap in eleven sports, then run the roster, the calendar and the reports from the same record. Most programs pay for three or four products to do that. The half other products sell separately is included in the plan here.

Included in every plan

Running the team is not a separate purchase.

Capture, box scores, play-by-play and standard reports are on every plan. So is everything below, which most clubs buy as a second subscription.

The part between the games

One calendar the whole team reads.

Practices, games, attendance and change notices, in the same application as the statistics.

list_alt

Games and practices together

One calendar across every team in the club, in agenda or month view, with recurring practices configured once. A subscription feed publishes it to any standard calendar application.

front_hand

One-tap RSVP, no account needed

Families respond from an emailed link without creating an account. No response is recorded as its own state rather than counted as a decline.

timer

Reminders that go out on their own

A nudge to non-responders 48 hours out, a reminder to attendees 24 hours out, and an immediate notice when a time, date or location changes. Change notices are never held for a digest.

change_circle

Cancelled, not deleted

Cancelling notifies everyone and leaves the entry on the calendar, struck through, rather than disappearing from a family's view.

groups

Announcements, kept

Post to a team or the whole club, pin priority items, enable replies, and export the record with authorship and timestamps.

person

Contacts and an emergency call tree

Every athlete's guardians in one directory. Contact details are never public under any visibility setting, and every access to a child's details is logged.

Safeguarding

Communication is open by construction.

No private adult to athlete channel

The U.S. Center for SafeSport's Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies require electronic communication between an adult and a minor athlete to be open and transparent, with another adult included, and prohibit private one-to-one adult to minor contact. Most clubs, schools and travel programmes are bound by these policies or adopt equivalent rules.

Drabble™ contains no private messaging. Every message is an announcement to a team or the club, with an author and a timestamp, and the record exports. There is no direct channel to close because none was built.

Why it is built this way

A tool leaves with the person. A record stays with the program.

Coaching turnover is the problem underneath

A coach spends three seasons learning what works with a squad. When they move on, most of it leaves with them: the session plans on their laptop, the notes on which rotation scored, the reason a drill was chosen. The next coach starts from the beginning, and the program has nothing to hand them.

Drabble is built as a record rather than a tool. The games, the plans, the playbook and the reporting belong to the organization, not to the account that created them. A coach leaving hands over a season that is already written down.

The organization owns what it recorded. The athlete owns the record of their playing. Neither can quietly delete the other.

One team, for a full season.

Add a seat for each additional team when the program is ready.
