Live Stat Tracking

Call the play.
The box score builds itself.

Say who did what, or tap it. Drabble™ credits the player, moves the score and adds the line to the play-by-play while the game is still going, so the stats are finished when the game is.

Two ways in

Voice or tap, in the same game.

Neither is a mode you commit to. Talk through a fast run of play, tap when the gym is loud, and switch between them whenever you like.

Voice

Say the name and the play.

“Sarah, kill.” Drabble matches the name against your roster and the play against that sport’s own phrase book, then records it. A short tone tells you it landed, so your eyes never have to leave the game.

  • Finer detail by voice too, such as a dunk recorded as a made two
  • Every phrase heard is kept in a Voice Inputs panel, recognised or not, so a missed call is easy to find and fix
  • A help panel in the tracker lists the phrases each stat answers to, with examples to copy

Tap

Tap the player, then the stat.

Every stat is a button on the player it belongs to. Press and hold a button to take that stat back. The scoreboard band across the top keeps the score and the current period, set or hole in view while you work.

A one-time guided walkthrough shows a new operator around the tracker the first time they open it.

Compound plays

One call, every stat in the play.

Some plays are several stats at once. A putback is a made two and an offensive rebound. Call it once, or tap it once, and both are recorded. The same list of compound plays drives voice and tap, so the two can never disagree about what a play means.

When the signal drops

Keep recording. It catches up on its own.

Gyms, fields and the back nine are where signal goes to die. Plays recorded without a connection are stored on the device and sent the moment it returns, each one pinned to the period it was entered in, so nothing lands in the wrong quarter.

Offline recording works in all five sports with live stats. Voice calls and match setup need a connection.

The rules, written down

Know exactly how each stat is counted.

An assist, a dig or a green in regulation can mean different things to different scorekeepers. A rules panel in the tracker states how Drabble counts each stat in that sport, so two operators on two teams record the same play the same way.

Everyone else

The people who can’t be there watch it happen.

Every game has a public page. It opens without an account, and while the game is on, the score and play-by-play update in place.

A second pair of hands

One person on stats, another on photos.

Give a parent the stats role or the media role without handing them the roster. The media operator uploads photos and video from their own phone, and Drabble suggests the play closest to the moment each one was taken, so a photo lands on the play it shows.

  • Separate stats and media roles, with no wider access
  • Photos and video attached to the exact play
  • A YouTube or Twitch stream can sit on the game page

Each athlete’s name on a public page shows only if their own visibility allows it. Otherwise they appear by jersey number. How athlete records work.

Record your next game with it.
